Connect Outvid to Claude
Add Outvid on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, then sign in on Outvid's own page and choose what Claude can do.
What you need
- An active Outvid plan. You can try Outvid for free.
- A Claude account. On the free Claude plan you can add one custom connector.
- Your clone and sending accounts. Set up in Outvid. Claude makes videos with your clone and replies from your connected accounts.
Add Outvid to Claude
Click Add to Claude on this page, or the same button in Outvid under Integrations, then Claude. Claude opens its Add custom connector window with Outvid filled in. Click Add, then Connect.
Sign in and choose what Claude can do
Outvid's own page opens. Sign in if asked, pick the one workspace Claude may use and choose what it may do. Click Allow and you go back to Claude.
Turn it on and ask
In each chat, turn Outvid on from the + menu, under Connectors. Ask your first question, and Claude is set up to start by telling you which Outvid account and workspace it is using.

Paste the URL in Claude
To add it by hand, open Claude, then Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste this URL. Name it Outvid, then click Add, then Connect.

Run this in your terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code and choose Authenticate. The command adds Outvid for every folder, not just the one you are in.

An owner adds Outvid once for the whole organization. Each person then opens Customize, then Connectors, clicks Connect on Outvid and signs in to their own Outvid account.

To use Outvid in the Claude mobile app, add it on the web or desktop first. Then turn it on in any chat from the + menu, under Connectors.
Claude labels Outvid Custom because you add it yourself. It may remind you that Anthropic has not reviewed it. That is expected.

Claude only works in the one workspace you pick, with the permissions you pick.
- Claude shows you each reply, who it goes to and which of your accounts sends it, and sends it only after you say yes.
- Replies only go to people who wrote to you, on a channel they used, from your own connected account. Claude cannot start a new conversation, and Outvid refuses to reply to anyone who opted out.
- You sign in on Outvid's own page, so Claude never gets your Outvid password. Outvid emails you when a new app connects to your account.
- Disconnect anytime under Integrations, then Claude. Claude loses access straight away.

In a workspace where you are a viewer, Claude can only look. To change your choices later, disconnect and connect again.

An active Outvid plan, and you can try Outvid for free. Without one, Claude can connect and check your account, but nothing else. Any Claude plan works. On the free Claude plan you can add one custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an owner adds Outvid once and each person connects their own Outvid account.
No. It comes with your Outvid plan. Looking things up, pausing a campaign and sending replies use no credits. Only videos use credits, the same as making them in Outvid, and a failed video is free. Credit amounts are on the pricing page.
Only replies. Claude can answer people who already wrote to you on email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Instagram, on the channel they used, from your own connected account. It shows you the exact message first and sends it when you say yes. On LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Instagram, links become tracking links. New outreach runs from your campaigns in Outvid.
Claude is set up to show you each reply first, with who it goes to, which of your accounts sends it and the exact text, and to send it only after you agree. Outvid refuses any reply that was not checked first or that changed after the check. If the person writes again, Claude has to read that first.
Yes, if you allow Make changes. Claude shows you the script and the cost and asks first. Then Outvid makes a personalized video of your AI clone, in your own voice, for one named person, and Claude gives you its share link. Making a video sends nothing to anyone. You record your clone in Outvid, not in Claude.
Most are ready in about a minute. At Premium HD quality one can take about 10 minutes, and with an HD clone up to about 20 minutes. Claude checks on it and gives you the share link once it is ready. If it is still being made, ask Claude to check again.
The one you pick when you connect, or Personal. Claude only sees and changes that workspace, and switching workspaces in Outvid later does not change it. To use a different workspace, disconnect and connect again. In a workspace where you are a viewer, Claude can only look.
Because you add Outvid yourself, with a link or its URL, rather than picking it from a list inside Claude. Claude labels every connector added this way as Custom and may remind you that Anthropic has not reviewed it. That is expected, and the steps on this page still apply.
Yes. MCP is how Claude connects to other apps, and Outvid's connector URL is https://api.outvid.ai/mcp. It works in claude.ai, the Claude desktop app and Claude Code, and in the Claude mobile app once you have added it on the web or desktop.
In Outvid, open Integrations, then Claude (app.outvid.ai/settings/integrations/claude), and click Disconnect next to the app. Claude loses access straight away, even if your plan is not active. When someone is removed from a workspace, their Claude connections to it end too, and asking to delete your account ends all of yours.
